Zoe's Sweet 16 in Hollywood- A Super Candylicious BBQ in Winter!

Zoe celebrated her totally Candylicious Sweet 16 in true LA style. She said, "Mom, I wanna have a Candyland BBQ in Winter at the Tennis Club" and Poof! Just like that this lucky 16 year olds birthday wishes were granted. It was a freezing night but Zoe and her friends still had a blast gorging themselves on candy & candy cupcakes lots of BBQ, a fire place and the best part of the whole night was, NO GROWN UPS ALLOWED! What more could a could a sixteen year old ask for? Well perhaps the keys to a new Ferrari (at least that's what I asked for when I turned 16 but all I got was a gold colored Mazda sedan) Anyhow, Zoe's Candylicious Sweet 16 was super fun and we loved this kid and her friends. If your wondering about those M-L t-shirts you see the girls wearing in the photos, well they are in honor of  a boy from their school named Michael Larson who was expelled and the girls created t-shirts in his honor as a sign of solidarity. I promised them I would include a tribute to this Michael Larson kid on my blog. So whatever you did to get expelled Michael Larson, my advice to you is, " don't do it again!" Ever! And this my friends is the life of a totally awesome 16 year old livin' it up in H-Wood. And such is the life of a crazy candy girl and her team of candy vixens who make your candy dreams come true all year long..

I stumbled across this fantastical video that features kids in a candy shop on the Oxygen show, Hair Battle Spectacular! I was screaming as I watched! Use this not that, do this instead, this candy makes more sense.. and on and on.. Lot's of fun & LOL's. Just when you thought candy was just for eating, WRONG again! There is a candy revolution happening and it ain't slowing down anytime soon! And Yes! I told you so!

SING IT PARTY PEOPLE!, " Last Christmas I gave you my heart and the very next day, you gave it away, THIS year to save me from tears, I'll give it to someone special!" OH! So sorry, I was singing out loud and then typing the words. Bad habit, I often type my thoughts anyhow,  George Michael, wherever you are this holiday season, I love you, you sexy little British Bad Boy Cow Boy!

Anyhow you gorgeous, fabulous party peeps, back to another fabtastic event to share with you guys! The Hollywood Candy Girls were out and in full effect at the Anaheim Angels Foundation Charity Event & Jammie Drive for 200+ well deserving children in our community.  These very special kiddos were invited to the ESPN zone at Downtown Disney where Angeles Manager and absolutely fantastic ( and super cute) guy Mike Scioscia, read them a Christmas story that was followed by a Team Meet & Greet. ESPN zone so graciously hosted this event and the kids enjoyed a holiday feast ( You know, tater tots, chicken fingers, sliders, cookies & more! They played games and received toys, holiday pajama's, and we happily donated fabulous cupcakes made with love by our bakalicious baker Kelle Cake Pops  & a ton of candy provided by Hollywood'd favorite candy girls! We had our very own candy kids help us out on this event and even our Candy King Chris ( My boo) left work early to join us. A die hard MLB fan who wore his Mets hat with pride while shaking hands with Angel players.  Mike Scioscia jokingly said to my husband " What's with the Mets hat?" And Candy King replies in his total New York accent while the Heiress to the candy empire slept on her daddy's shoulder " I gotta represent man, I'm a New York Dominican" Mike Scioscia then said, " Oh I played there for 2 years, I loved it!" My Candy Kings eyes twinkled and I knew in that moment, I was hands down the most AWESOME wife eva and he was simply, HAPPY! Don't let all my sassiness fool you, underneath all this candy craziness, I'm actually a total sensitive softy who's kinda sweet.. well I have my moments

You see my friends, we don't just make candy dreams come, we also make grown men's Major League Baseball dreams come true too! We were simply honored to have been able to do our part to support the community and spread some more candy love around town.

To Put On Blast Or To Not Put On Blast- Now That Is The Question! America's Dumbest Copy Cat!

Hey Party People!
I post these precious moments for YOU! My blog readers, friends & fans, blogabees's and blog stalkers! You guys often tell me this type of stuff makes you laugh and so many fans share with me that the reason you like me is for keeping it real, telling it like it is and never straying from that kind of authenticity so this my candy family is for you! I let 90% of this stuff roll of my back but 10% is so funny & ridiculous, it must be shared. I'm also a strong supporter in empowering women to stand for themselves & sometimes that means adopting a take no prisoners attitude. I get it,  they say, don't sweat the small stuff  but unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of living a life of leisure where someone else pays all my bills or goes to work while I stay at home and catch up on Day's of our lives and then running off to get my hair highlighted while stopping off for a quick Cafe Latte to chit chat with Laverne & Shirley! I also choose to work my ass off because it make me feel good about myself and makes my parents proud and... I DO have bills to pay, a fabulous business to grow, products to endorse, books to write, places to go and people to see.. you dig? And just now I felt like sweatin' a little so with all that said, ENJOY!

I  seriously need to pitch a show similar to that of America's dumbest criminals and call it America's Dumbest Copy Cats! Was this dude who convo'd me 2 minutes ago on Facebook 4 real!You should do your homework before being so ballsy however, I do commend the ballsiness I just have to respond to the attempt and say, "Candy Girl don't Play Dat Homey! Duhhhh!"

A Contemporary, Chic & Very Modern Mitzvah For Oliver & Custom Candy Chocolate Buffet & Candy Bar @ The Four Seasons Hotel, Los Angeles

A phenomenal event at The glamourous Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles where Oliver celebrated his Contemporary Chic Bar Mitzvah. This was certainly one of the most magnificent Mitzvah's I've ever worked on and Mrs. Nicole Hirsty of Cobalt Events ( www.cobaltevents.com) & Event Planner to the Stars did an Amazing job creating a super sophisticated event that took everyone's breath away. Not a single detail went unnoticed and this event was pure sophistication and elegance. We created a custom candy buffet bar that was mainly all chocolate with some candy elements. The Pewter Shelves and modern vessels allowed our candy to shine in all it's Chic Candy Glory. The candy was accompanied by platters of gourmet chocolate dipped oreos and toffee bark. Candy can be fun & wild and colorful & whimsy but like I always say, when done right- Candy Can Be Anything You Want It To Be.. Even Contemporary & Chic! Mazel Tov to our buddy Oliver & A Thank you to the family & fabulous Four Seasons and of course to our friend the immensely talented and lovely Mrs. Nicole Hirsty!
