Le Petit Cake Gourmet- I fell in love at first sight...bite! Fabulous Cakes, Tarts, Custom Cookie Favors & Cupcakes

So- I fell in love again today! This time with Maleah of Le Petit Cake Gourmet in Los Angeles who knocked my socks off and made me smile from ear to ear. As many of our readers know, if it's quirky, whimsical, different, retro, funky or fabulous- WE LOVE IT! I am always so in awe of how talented people are and gain so much inspiration by surrounding myself with individuals from various backgrounds with unique perspectives and points of view. Maleah's creations are fun, funky and insanely D-LICH! I'm so excited about having her create some custom cookie favors & yummy tarts for my up-coming baby shower! I know that many recent posts have made mention of this event but I have to be honest, for 7 1/2 months I have worked straight through my pregnancy without really enjoying this experience or slowing down for even a second to let it sink in that I AM ACTUALLY HAVING A BABY! No matter how much I work , how busy we are or how fast we grow- this is one thing that I can not control. So I have kind of surrendered myself to the fact that I better get excited, start planning and do something so over-the-top and amazing to welcome this little bambina into the world in true candy girl style! I mean Fuggggetaboutit- little baby Bella has no clue what she's in for! One thing's for sure- my kid will be very popular in pre-school when I send her off with pockets full of jelly beans and lollipops that will weigh down her little pink overalls! ( I'm obsessed with little kids in over-alls) So now that we are proceeding with the planning of this Extravaganza... I will continue to share with you all of our fun ideas and fabulously talented vendors who will be partnering with us to make this event a truly special day!

The Relentless Bride Gets Married!!! A Celebrity Bloggers Fairytale Day! Amy Jean & Larry's Wedding & Fabulous Candy Land Candy Buffet Bar & Candy Station

Custom Candy Buffet Bars was simply honored to be a part of the Relentless Bride's Wedding. The fabulous Amy Jean blogged about her story and let readers follow her wedding planning journey! We came into contact with Amy several months ago when she decided she had to have some candy at her gorgeous wedding. She sent us an email with her candy vision and the rest is history- we became friends along the way too sharing updates on our lives etc.... Her reception was held at the lovely Rancho Santa Margarita Bell Tower &  her color scheme of Gray & Yellow was so modern and edgy and Amy thought a big POP of fun and color would look best when creating her Custom Candy Buffet Bar! We wanted to give her Candy Station a whimsical feel and incorporated lots of Candy Land elements! A color explosion and sweets station  was enjoyed by all! I have to also share that Amy's flowers took my breath away- Literally! I am very proud to say that I am  totally copying her and will be re-creating her baby's breath towers flowing with Orchids at my baby shower next month! I have never in my life seen baby's breath look as magnificent as it did at Amy's wedding! Another sign of a very savvy bride! At the end of the evening all that was left was 1 pixie stick and a single gummy sour apple ring! This means- The Candy Bar was a HUGE HIT! It was so fun seeing all the kiddo's running around with giant smiles, bright purple tongues  ( thanks to the now & laters) and candy bags full of goodies & treats. The adults were on Sugar Over-Load too! Amy had a magnificent cake & chocolate fountain to compliment her dessert stations for the evening! A Sweet Success! American Idol's Top 24 Party & Our Idol Blue Custom Candy Buffet Bar! Idol's LOVE Our Candy! 2-18-2010 Coco De Ville - Los Angeles

A fabulous event for the American Idol's Top 24 contestants at Coco De Ville was held in Los Angeles on 2-18-2010. Idol's and guests had a fantastic time while DJ Cobra spun great music- Customcandybuffetbars.com created a fantastic American Idol Blue Custom Candy Buffet Bar that was enjoyed by everyone! Who would have guessed that the Idol's loved candy as much they do! It was so much fun meeting & greeting the cast. Katelyn Epperly, Todrick Hall, Lee Dewyze, Big Mike Lynch, Casey James, Didi Benami, Andrew Garcia, Ashley Rodriguez, Haley Vaughn, Lacey Brown, Joe Munoz, Katie Stevens, Lily Scott and Michelle Delamor. They were so excited and thrilled to have made it this far and we are so proud of them all. We will be watching the season and since we can't pick a favorite- we'll root for them all! Our candy girls- Briana & Calise & Candy Crew- Jackie, Darlene and Joey did such a fabulous job keeping the candy stocked, speaking to guests and taking lots of pics all evening. Goody bags were being filled with sweet treats all night long! Samsung sponsored this fantastic Custom Candy Buffet Bar and we simply loved working with the fantastic team who produced this great event!
