She's officially a FIDM grad and we're so proud of her huge accomplishment! So guess who'll be designing, sewing, blinging out and conceptualizing all our new outfits and marketing them into oblivion??? That's right, little Miss Fashion Queen! So proud of you V! This calls for a company meeting and celebration at our beloved Cheesecake Factory!!! Total high kick into the splitz moment!!!

The Grandparents To The Candy Empire! No Shame In Their Game. CLEARLY, The Best $14.99 They Ever Spent!

Aren't they freakin' cute! The Silver Fox & his spicy Latina Mamacita Chiquita Banana! Georgie & Arci The grandparents to the candy empire who I have a bit of an un-healthy obsession with.  You see, some people would rather keep their parents at a distance, check in every now and then with a phone call but not in Candy Land. I don't really do to much without getting their opinions first because oddly I've realized at 32, they're almost always right.  I suppose my therapist, Dr. Issues may call this Co-dependancy but keeping it real, I  just need their approval because it validates my decisions and prevents me from being stupid. You see, I was blessed with two of the funniest, corny parents with ridiculous accents ( however, in their opinions they have no accents and in my opinion, they need subtitles )  Anyhow, this photo of my mom & dad was taken in a Super Market last weekend who had some $14.99 promo on old fashioned-ish pictures. The fact that my mom and dad got dressed up to take an awkward photo complete with weird giant antique phone and grape vines in a SUPER MARKET, makes me love them even more. While some would have never disclosed this stunning Picasso of a portrait was taken there, these two have no shame in their game. And if you think Grandma & Grandpa didn't include their beloved first grandchild on this priceless, once in a lifetime deal, WRONG. You see, the photo below is of Isabella- the Heiress To The Candy Empire and although it's evident that she was styled by some magical prop genius, I would have probably gone with another look for my kid. She's thinking," What The F-Bomb have they done to me this time!"  Hands down, this was the BEST $14.99 ever spent. I mean, the proof is in the pictures folks.  As if, you totally didn't figure that out on your own already!

Lord Lollipop Or Princess Pixie Stick, On The Way!!!

So Literally I have tears forming globs in my eyes and I have not even written a single sentence yet! Okay, so full on tears at this point. I've been holding onto this little secret of mine for a few weeks having only told a few friends and wondering if I could have possibly been mistaken but having just gone through the experience of having my first baby, I kind of new the feelings were back. The nausea, the extra moody ups and downs, the desire to consume 40lbs of the sweetest pineapple on earth which MUST be imported from Costa Rica otherwise, it's no good! I knew it and today it was confirmed, I'm Freakin' Pregnant.. Again! Isabella- The Heiress to The Candy Empire is going to turn 1 in 6 weeks and I'm sure by the time Lord Lollipop or Princess Pixie Stick arrives, she'll be able to drive us around town, fix bottles and change diapers because clearly, I WILL NEED HELP! I was shocked, kinda scared and at one point called myself a total idiot for never planning anything in life.. EVER! I've lived this way for so long and now this is the result. When you don't plan, you have no blue print, no schedule of when things should or shouldn't happen.... life happens and the truth is, I wouldn't have it any other way! I don't know how to be any other way.


I've always kind of thrown myself into life with an anything goes kind of attitude. If my timing is wrong, if I fail, f- up,  if I lose.. oh well, I just give it another go. Like my favorite Japanese Proverb says, " Fall Seven Times, Stand Up Eight. " Well, I certainly don't think I am falling with this news but some who are close to me know that I have a full plate right now that is already over-flowing so how am I going to handle this? I dunno, I don't think it's that crazy, we'll just have to figure it out. That's all. I have handfuls of friends who are your OCD, Planner, Agenda, Organizer type girls and they just don't know what to say and since I'm nothing like that and have never officially owned a planner of my own, I think they're silly. Perhaps it's because it's those friends who I text or call at weird hours and say, " I'm losing my mind, help me" They feel for me and in their minds organization is the spice of life. Anyhow, this is surprising news and I'm happy to know that perhaps my master-plan of creating my very own Kardshians and calling them the Sorkinians and being the puppet master and momager to my very own herd of Brunette beauties who I will collect a 10% commission on isn't such a farse. I've been telling my husband I want a home full of 5 crazy girls for quite sometime and I have all their names picked out.. Isabella, Daniella, Gabriella, Carolina & Trudy. Ok, Trudy I lied about but I thought the name was funny. Anyhow, at this point I'm thinking 2 will be all we can handle for a while so just as I do everything else,  I'm going to share this journey with you as it happens. No secrets, no BS, no fluff, I'll be as transparent as humanly possible because I already lived plenty of years of my life acting like a phony to make other people happy. And, For the 3 people who actually read my blog or (50,000- How Dope is That!) Thanks for being here, I dunno why I cry more when writing to you then I do when I'm actually dealing with people face to face. Here's to getting Fat again and it's a damn shame that I had liposuction on my Belly just 12 weeks after I had the first kid.  Mom and dad always know best and  as my mother told me before I got the procedure done ( *Think hardcore Latina accent ) "Aww my Gaw Yackie, Yew So Crazy Mija, Gwy Yew Gonna Do De Liposuccion, Yew Can Yust Excersize at the Jym on De Byke and estop eating de candies and da breads, breads is so bad!" I love you ma' but I love da' candies and I live for a good bread basket! Mom, 1 point for you & negative 3 for me. You really were right about that one. Well,  here we grow again gang.. Why the hell, can't I stop with the crying!!!! 8 months to Go...Pray for me. I'm glad you're here with me. And for those of you who are highly wigged out by people's ultrasound pics then just tell yourself, I drew this with an etch-a-sketch and STOP being rude to my baby damn it! One day, this may be you too and you'll totally understand!

OH SNAP! ARE U REALLY FOR REAL & SAYING THIS TO ME RIGHT NOW MOMENT!!!

So check it! Today I get my 3rd or 4th way too early phone call from who I thought was American Express telling me my payment was late and it turns out to be a MAJOR candy industry C.E.O.  who we'll call... Mr. I Can't believe I 'm talking to you ( sorry can't spill the beans on this one) who tells me in his deep C.E.O. Man- Dad Like Voice. "Young Lady, what you and your business are doing is changing the candy industry and turning manufacturers up-sidedown! You have created a shift in our products and we're watching YOU closely! ( Yeah- You and all the candy spies, blogabee's, stalkers & swim fan copy cats!) We'd like to send you X, Y, Z, and see what you think!  So I honestly kind of peed my pants and died and with no sarcasm in my voice and full on R-E-S-P-E-C-T I said, " Thank you sir however, I'm not  that young- I'm 31 and have a baby, 2 dogs, a cute husband with a heart of Gold, rad parents who support my wacked out my mindness and tell me NO! when I need to hear it and the most loyal, loving and supportive gorgeous candy mafia family that a chick could ever have!" He chuckled and said, " I like you, are you always this excited & enthusiastic in the morning?" I said, " Totally! But usually by midnight I crash & burn and cry about still not thinking I'm good enough." He said, " my dear, you're more than good enough." I said, " Yeah, I guess... my therapist Dr. Issues says that to me too, I just wanna move out of my town house and take a vacation." He then laughed so hard and invited me to lunch when he flies out to LA next month. Kinda dope! I'm going to have lunch with Mr. I can't believe I'm talking to you, what in the hell am I going to wear and more importantly, what in the world is the baby going to wear? She always upstages me with that great hair & those rosy cheeks and her tutu's but she also seals all the deals, we're an insane tag team this kid and I!
