What a Heavenly day it was for the beautiful Miss Heavenly Joy Jerkins who celebrated her 1st Birthday in true pink princess style! Heavenly is daughter of our High School friend Joy Enriquez who is a Stunning Latina Singing Goddess and married to the lovely and super Mega Mogul and World Renowned Mr. Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. Rodney produces for the worlds biggest stars and has produced many of their Smash Hits! J-Lo, Britney Spears, Toni Braxton, Michael Jackson, Kelle Clarkson, Beyonce...This list never ends I mean, hellooo it's Darkchild. Nuff said.  Joy and I re-connected recently at the launch of OWN The Oprah Winfrey Network. We chatted about life, babies, parties and it was so nice to catch up with a friend from back in the day. Joy & Her Sis Tiffany and the rest of the familia threw a fantastic party for a fantastically sweet lil' princess. We had a great time working on this party and creating some " Heavenly Candy" for the birthday girl. I personally really appreciated how truly laid back and lovely this Super Star family was! In all honesty, we do have the privilege of working with so many of Hollywood's finest but it is rare to find those who are so incredibly warm and humble and make you feel right at home with them.  Our very own Isabella-Heiress to the candy empire jumped at the chance to wear a Tutu and finally play with kids her own age! We think sometimes she tries escaping Candy Land but we've got baby gates so this kid is stuck with us!!! Happy Birthday Heavenly Joy! We Love You, Mommy, Daddy, RJ, & The Whole Fabulous Family! Promise you'll come to Bella's 1st Birthday In June! We Want Your Mommy To Sing & Dance & Be Fabulous!!!

A New High Tech Contraption For Your Purses. Innovation is a beautiful thing.

In the spirit of Keeping it real, I'd like to share with you an amazing multi use device that I recently discovered in my own home. I've often stared at this thing and wondered " What in the hell am I supposed to do with you?" Anyhow, I finally just figured it out!!! My husband told me he got me this Ammmmazzzzzing purse rack which apparently is also some sort of fitness machine that I am supposed to be using for at least an hour everyday at 6am. Go figure! Coulda' fooled me and have fooled me for several months now.  All this time I swore it was some sort of high tech contraption that was invented to keep my bags off the floor! I suppose you do learn something new everyday! And PS- My purses are really clean!

I wanted to take a moment and follow-up on a recent post that received a great deal of inquiry regarding the life of a very special girl I went to High School with, Allison Greene. She recently lost her battle to cancer and the day I heard about this I wanted to support her friends & family in helping them fulfill her wish which was to celebrate life in a Big Red Barn with Brad Paisley singing. Well...IT HAPPENED and yesterday at her memorial in Orange County, California, Brad Paisley arrived and was introduced by Allie's husband. Needless to say, it is truly inspiring and phenomenally special to see someone's wish become their reality. Although I did not attend, I was waiting to hear if Brad actually made it. When I heard he did, I was amazed, so inspired, so moved and astonished by the power of believing in something so much that it comes to fruition. Allison Greene will be greatly missed though her spirit will live on in her adorable daughter Riley forever. Nothing is impossible, not even Brad Paisley showing up at a big red barn to pay tribute to a very special young woman who lived her life with love & and such an enormously generous spirit! Here's to you Allie.
