T-24 Hrs to Idol Mania!!! These candy girls work so hard and we are usually over joyed with excitement and way to much energy OR we're overwhelmed with emotion and crying happy tears of amazement! We appreciate every opportunity we're give, every client, every event, every inquiry, every opportunity to earn a client's business and we believe that if you work hard, be nice to others, always stand for yourself, learn to say sorry ( when warranted), help old people cross the street, always rescue stray dogs on the freeway and if you listen to your mom and dad too.. everything will be aiiiight! At this moment, we're just feeling particularly grateful and happy and wanted to share that!

In a world that is mostly all love, peace and happiness, mommy has to sometimes deal with the occasional crappy situation but you are better then any happy pill that could ever be prescribed or borrowed from one of my mommy's friends and like Ke$ha says, "Your Love is My Drug" When I lose it these days ( which is a lot less often due to Tai Chi, an inappropriate amount of scented candles that surround my work space, and a new fountain that is supposed to sound like a babbling brook) you just laugh at me and smile because in your little world, you think I'm just being silly when I make those angry faces or start to throw my hands in the air. I love you kid! Oh My God, am I really crying? Yup! Here it goes. Good Night!

Happy Birthday to the first blondie that we ever allowed into our tight knit candy crew! Miss Ashley celebrated her Birthday and we simply wanted to share it with the world and tell her she's LalaLOVED! Ashley is sweet & fun, has a cute voice and likes to giggle. She was President of her Sorority and is pretty smart too so don't get it twisted and let her good looks fool you.. she's brainy and has recently received her Masters Degree! YES, AS IN MASTERS DEGREE!!! Happy Birthday Ash! The world is a more Candylicious place because of YOU and since I was never cool enough to be President of anything and dropped out of community college because I could not pass Algebra after my 11th attempt, I thank you for allowing me to re-live my youth through your awesomeness! giggle.. giggle..

A Fabulously Fun Brian Worley 40th Birthday Bash @ The Buffalo Club Santa Monica

Our fabulously fun friend the super duper gorgeous & talented Mr.Brian

Worley called us with a special request to create something spectacular for his

client Nicole who was celebrating a super fun birthday at The Buffalo Club in

Santa Monica. After speaking to Nicole and feeling as if we'd been friends

forever, we decided on a custom candy buffet & dessert bar combo! We

combined the rich & elegant event colors of Deep Reds, Gold &

Chocolate into her sweets table and the outcome was pretty fantastical. Brian's

vision for every event he touches seems like artistry from another planet. His

eye for design is unexplainable to most and in my opinion he and his lovely

partner Jaime Geffen create events that are simply on another level and quite

honestly, the top events in town! I feel lucky enough to get to work with so

many fantastic event designers and industry pro's but these two in particular

have been great supporters, mentors, friends and colleagues. They've inspired

me to do better and have provided honest and priceless advise to me along the

way. Such good peeps these two! As it happens, Brian is also on the CW's new

show- Shedding For The Wedding! Tune in! A special thank you to the Candy

Crew, Baking Betty's and newest baker on our team- Miss Katie Herbold who's

Cupcakes with 24K Gold Glitter & Glam Cake Pops were like edible pieces

of art! Gooo TEAM!

Because We don't just make candy look pretty, we totally invented it too!

Praise The Candy Gods!!! Finally, A Photo Has Been Taken Where My Husband is Clearly Not Sooooo Much Better Looking Then Me... Which is normally the case!!

In the spirit of "Keeping it Real" I am going to say this, FINALLY a photo has been taken where my husband is clearly not soooo much better looking then me! When you have a baby you just go through massive changes and some of us don't bounce back to sexy as quickly as we'd hope to and to be fair, working in Candy Land, Cake Land, Cookie Land, Cupcake & Passed Hours Devours at every single event Land etc... is a serious matter that I often take up with with my therapist, Dr. Issues. I was never model skinny, amazon chick tall or super ripped to begin with and even then, I still managed to get the occasional perv truck driver honk on the freeway or Hey girl Heeeeey while working an all nighter in Da' club with my Candy girls! Anyhow, A big thank you to my lovely and dear friend Mrs. Sarah Zahran who snapped this snazzy pic. She's the owner of Sarah Z Events ( www.sarahzevents.com)! She's a total wedding goddess and I love her and her gorgeous family and delicious daughters. And for the record, I barely even photo shopped this picture and I think the weird artichoke diet that was smuggled in from Mexico for me may actually be working.. a little!

Introducing our New Customizable Candy Cart! It's super cute & super fun! Something new we had to share with our candy family. Candy will never be Blah rather, we make it Blahwesome!!! Oh and new super cute outfits too! A big thank you to our beloved Candy Girl, Briana who managed to design these new outfits for our Candy Crew! They're actually so cute that this weekend at a Bridal event, a bride got so upset at her new fiance when he couldn't take his eyes off of our bodacious beauties! You better check yourself before you wreck yourself homeboy, or better yet- Get a new Fiance who has way more self confidence and is nicer to you! What a scene queen this girl was! Ugh!
