Party People!!!! If you don't know who these lil' darlings below then.. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN HIDING??? Alana Thompson a.k.a. Honey Boo Boo Child and her Big Sis Chickadee and mama June are all some very special friends to The Hollywood Candy Girls! We met a few months ago thanks to one thing we had in common- Our TLC family! Anyhow, we had a CRAZY, super fun night in Hollywood that we'll never forget and are so excited for all the wonderful things this family is experiencing! If you are familiar with us and read about our sweet adventures around the world, well then it should not surprise you that we've formed a friendship with this fantastic family who is silly, bold, fun, perfectly happy with who they are ( just like us) and totally living life by their very own fabulously, fun loving rules! We're working on some Super Sweet Stuff for them & can't wait for the girls to see it & taste it!

Our Trip To The Big Apple! Candy World Domination Or BUST Baby!

Candy friends, it's been a while since I've gotten a lil' deep on the blog and the truth is, I'm simply so over-loaded, insanely swamped and now understanding what it means when they say " Be Careful What You Wish For!" I get it, most people wish for stuff that is simply so outlandish you can probably bet, it's NOT gonna happen however, there are some of us who understand that you can wish for the most ridiculous, outlandish, crazy ass things and if you've got immense passion and an ability to put your ideas into action, you CAN actually make these things your reality. " Riches don't respond to wishes, they respond to hard work and persistence." I love that quote, it's actually my favorite because it doesn't just speak to me, it SCREAMS at me! The hurdles and eye rolls and amounts of times I've heard "you're sooo delusional" is beginning to slowly fade to black and those who once were the infamous rollers of the eyes are now my " I told you so's!" This isn't about proving people wrong however, being RIGHT is a little awesome sometimes and you know it!  This whole thing is simply about a little 7 year old girl who used to write crazy business plans and carry an empty brief case to school because all she wanted to be was successful in business and do something so special in the world that nobody would even believe it! 

We were in NYC for a fast paced week of meetings and exciting opportunities with phenomenal folks however, always keeping it level-headed, whatever is supposed to happen, is gonna happen just as it should. I know a bunch of you read this blog for party inspiration, you like the pretty stuff we make or you simply stumbled upon this random candy chicks page and are asking yourself, " Who is this girl?" Well, I'm probably just like you, I've just been writing about my journey for a bunch of years and have found a bunch of cool friends along the way! By the way, our TLC show Candy Queen is airing globally now and you can catch it on Discovery Real Time in the UK & In Europe! Cheers! The fact that our TV show is now reaching folks around the globe is totally mind boggling !

There are some girls who just belong on TV. Alana Honey Boo Boo Child Is One Of Them! Here Comes Honey Boo Boo On TLC Premieres Tonight! WATCH IT! IT'S HISTORIC KINDA TV!

Whatever you do tonight just make sure you are home in time to catch the series premiere of our dear little friend Alana's New Show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. We met & fell in love & friendship with Alana & Her Mama June Bug when they came to visit Hollywood and we had the super fun pleasure of spending an entire evening together in West Hollywood. We can't really explain what our evening was like because most of it is all a blur however, some girls were just born to be so silly, so fun & so outrageous! Our honorary candy girl Miss Alana is just THAT! Say whatever you may about this fabulous family, we'll just say.. We Love 'Em!

KInd of an Insanely AMAZING Tweet From Mama Oprah Winfrey's Camp!

TLC Candy Queen Premieres in the UK! It's Kind Of Amazing That Our Lil' Shows Gone GLOBAL!

Ummmm.. What do we think of all this Sugar Love???? It's kinda NUTS & AMAZING RIGHT!!! We would have never thought our lil' show would have gone global but it has and the things we are getting to experience because of it are kinda earth shatteringly amazing, incredible and insaner than the most insanely insane kinda stuff! 

We're all simply so appreciative of all the international fans and how much they love and appreciate our sugary world of creative confectionary craziness! Candy Queen is now airing on Discovery Real Time and so many of our friends in the UK get to experience the show and totally call us & tweet us in their fancy accents and make fun of us after each episode airs. I'm the first to admit,  this is all super wild however, it's like I always say.. Life is short, make it sweet & fun! AND.. I get to constantly be reminded of how I looked being 9 months pregnant and totally about to explode while filming our show Candy Queen. OH! And the baby? Well that little delicious man is now 8 months old today and a little ball of candy coated cuteness!!!

I've watched this over 500 Times.. Today it made me cry 501 Times...

It's one of the greatest films of all time however, on my planet, it's the Holy Grail. You see, this is my life's inspiration and it's not just about C-A-N-D-Y, it's about all the meaning and messages behind it. I totally get it! I'm part Charlie, Part Wonka & Even Part Oompa Loompa. I make lots of sense, little sense or no sense at all, depending on the day, time of day and weather conditions ... 

Find your inspiration, don't question why it inspires you and RUN with it.. In my case.. I ran straight to Candy Land.. 
It's totally working too!
