This Fairytale is actually TRUE...

Once upon a time there was a little girl who had HUGE &  what some might even consider to be crazy dreams.  Actually, she dreamt of things that seemed quite silly to most but she knew that she had something very special along with an insane desire to succeed and provide a better life for her entire family! She never expected to be given a golden ticket rather, she wanted to work her ass off and not complain about it just like her parents did and lead her by example!  She hoped to teach all the little girls, big girls, young moms, old moms, soccer moms, single moms & the rest of the world that if you believe in yourself even while others may not, believe in your goals even if they seem un-reachable and do whatever it takes to achieve them, ANYTHING is possible for you, your family & those silly dreams of yours! Along with her team of unbelievably loving, loyal, fun, smart & super cute crew of boys, girls, babies, mom & dad & awesome (totally calm & normal) husband, supportive friends who are funny and perfectly inappropriate at all the right times, 2 stinky dogs and even facebook fans...They Started A Candy Revolution and now the next chapter in their journey has begun. Remember folks, " Riches don't respond to wishes, they respond to hard work & persistence!" Put people first and love like a lunatic and stuff will happen for you & your life just as it should. Every single one of us has the opportunity to do, be & become anything we want and as corny as that may sound- it's the truth however, most people give up at the first let down rather than forging ahead when things get tough. Embrace your failures, each and everyone of them because they are the gifts and lessons you need in order to achieve whatever it is your aiming for.  And whatever you believe in, just know that there is a big man up-stairs who knows exactly where your life will lead you and where you'll land because after-all, he's in control and he's got so much love for you, me and everyone else too. What's next on the list? Camp Candy Land which will be a place for kids to create, be kinda crazy and explore their talents... Why stop now when there is so much more we're capable of! Life is short, make it sweet & fun!

In the spirit of KEEPING IT REAL, I have to admit that this week was increasingly busy with Blog Stalkers, Blogabees, Telephone Spies, Time Wasters, Photo Burglars, Facebook Frienemies & Of course Copy Cats Galore. Who ever said the Candy World was all Lollipops & Gum Drops, Pink Puffy Hearts & Unicorns is totally delusional. Wait! I think I may have said that a while back but guess what? Things Changed. So to all of you who fall into these categories and continue of copy, steal, replicate, imitate, call us from your private-blocked numbers..we're on to you and so is the FBI, CIA, US Navy, Air force, The Secret Service, Bomb Squad, Garbage Man & Telephone Operator, & Even the President is onto you and thinks you are so RUDE!

( And you totally know who you are because when you read this you're going to get slightly uncomfortable and question if this is directed at YOU & YES, we will be putting you on blast too! Stay tuned!)

I'll admit it, we have a mini donut obsession and we're owning it!

I know and I am just going to put it out there.. We're kind of obsessing over mini donuts & mini donut stations, dipping donuts in fondue, donut ka-bobs (And for the record, we totally invented them!) and candy buffet & donut combos! The party world is simply the sweetest place to live and if it's cute and small and colorful- we're in! So this my friends is my post dedicated to all things mini donut! We have our mini donut baker on speed dial and he can bust out dozens of these bad boys at a moments notice and that's why we heart him! Enjoy Party People!

Someone asked me how I would describe us Candy Girls and I said We're The Spice Girls of Candy!...

Hi-Ya Party Peeps,
So this is kind of random but I love the way it sounds. During an interview today I was asked to describe what us Candy Girls are all like and as I began to go down the list and describe each of us one by one, I suddenly stopped and just said, "You know, We're kind of like the Spice Girls of Candy because we really are all so different" Then I thought, " No! We're actually very special girls with a very interesting story on how we all came together and came to be. We're actually so special that we are some of Gods limited editions! I'm just gonna say it, I think girls should be bold, and brave and sassy and silly and fun and totally who ever they want to be. Kinda like the Spice Girls who I was and am still so totally obsessed with to this day! So with that High Self-Esteem moment I wish you all a good night and leave you with a High Kick into the Splits! Sweet Dreams...

A Contemporary, Chic & Very Modern Mitzvah For Oliver & Custom Candy Chocolate Buffet & Candy Bar @ The Four Seasons Hotel, Los Angeles

A phenomenal event at The glamourous Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles where Oliver celebrated his Contemporary Chic Bar Mitzvah. This was certainly one of the most magnificent Mitzvah's I've ever worked on and Mrs. Nicole Hirsty of Cobalt Events ( www.cobaltevents.com) & Event Planner to the Stars did an Amazing job creating a super sophisticated event that took everyone's breath away. Not a single detail went unnoticed and this event was pure sophistication and elegance. We created a custom candy buffet bar that was mainly all chocolate with some candy elements. The Pewter Shelves and modern vessels allowed our candy to shine in all it's Chic Candy Glory. The candy was accompanied by platters of gourmet chocolate dipped oreos and toffee bark. Candy can be fun & wild and colorful & whimsy but like I always say, when done right- Candy Can Be Anything You Want It To Be.. Even Contemporary & Chic! Mazel Tov to our buddy Oliver & A Thank you to the family & fabulous Four Seasons and of course to our friend the immensely talented and lovely Mrs. Nicole Hirsty!
