A Wonderful Day To Be A 1/2 Mexican! Happy Cince De Mayo Candy Family! Arrrriba!!!

Happy Cinco De Mayo Candy Family!!! A very special day for me because as a proud 1/2 Mexican and daughter of a super fabulous, funny, bossy and so cute Mexicana Mamacita ( my mom, Arcelia) I have an excuse to eat endless Tacos, Sip on Non-Alcoholic Margaritas ( Only due to the baby on the way, otherwise it would be Patron Shots all around)  wear sombreros,  and sing along with the Mariachi's and scream our heads off at some local Cantina with a bunch of Gringos who I believe love this day even more then the actual Mexicanos do!!! Cinco de Mayo is one of those insanely popular holidays that usually end up with someone saying, " I can't believe I drank so much, I gotta work in the morning." Or  You wake up the next day and say, " How in the hell did this Donkey Pinata  Get in my bed?" I hope you get to celebrate your pants off and if you are stuck at work, the least you could do is drive through a Taco Bell on the way home so you feel a little Mexican today! Que Viva Mexico!!! Arrrrriba!!!!

PS- Wikipedia Explains The Day:

Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a holiday held on May 5. It is celebrated nationwide in the United States and regionally in Mexico, primarily in the state of Puebla.[1][2][3][4] The date is observed in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride,[5] and to commemorate the cause of freedom and democracy during the first years of the American Civil War.[6] In the state of Puebla, the date is observed to commemorate the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza SeguĂn.[7][8] Contrary to widespread popular belief, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence Day,[9][10] the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico, which occurs on September 16th.
