Life is what you make it...

"This life is what you make it. No matter what, you're going to mess up sometimes, it's a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you're going to mess it up. Just because you fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don't, then who will? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life's a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about."

New Age Mumbo Jumbo To Some Of You However, This Stuff Really Works!

I know that to many people those who are overly positive, overly optimistic, overly encouraging, overly ambitious about life and overly into the idea of pushing others to see their own fantastic abilities to succeed can be thought of as overly nauseating BUT... I could personally care less. I've been nauseous with morning sickness for nine months- I'm used to it by now.

People that believe and believe and believe even when they fail and fail, and fail some more, experience a different outcome in life... Perhaps it's New Age Mumbo Jumbo to some but to me, this type of thought process and truly embodying this mentality has gotten me & my little family this damn far ( and what I mean by "this damn far" is we live in a candy coated condo and I own & run a very cool business and work my balls off so, don't get it twisted- there is no Fresh Prince of Bel Air happening here). I've watched the people in my life overcome devastating illness's & prognosis's, I've seen my own little family go from having very little to having something very special that was created without anything other then my own belief that we could this. I have seen people who were once pretty ruthless, negative and even cut-throat A-holes transform into better & nicer people (me included).  We all know that every day certainly isn't filled with unicorns, rainbows & lollipops but this video below was so impactful to me that I had to share this because as sensitive & hormonal as I may be right now which is probably why I cry so easily-I know this will mean something to many of you too! I mean, if the over-dramatic YOU CAN DO IT- instrumentals don't hit you, the messages certainly will. Now go watch it- it's good for you!

Don't make me come over their and wipe your tears for you and kick your ass into Greatness either because the truth is if you told me you needed it, I'd do it for you just the same way so many of you have done that for me.

Deep thoughts on a Sunday.. For The Working Girls & Ladies Of The Night, Like Me.

Party Peeps,
There is something very special to be said about the people in your life who believed in you even before you believed in yourself. ( In my opinion, these folks are Golden, keep them closest to you) The people who've always supported you and your adventures while others stood by severely rolling their eyes and anticipating you'd fail or couldn't handle seeing you actually succeeding on your own merit. There is something to be said about these people and I believe that something to be said is simple, Thanks for believing in me when I did not and for laughing, crying, freaking out and hyperventilating with me along the way... I always say, Sincerity in people reads so transparently and when it's real, you know it's real. So for all the other working girls like me and ladies of the night, like me ( We work parties- really late! Take your mind out of the gutter perv!) I believe in you and most likely, I don't even know you but it doesn't matter- sometimes it just takes one person to kick your ass into greatness.  Go be great! NO CRYING IN CANDY LAND! Happy Sunday Guys.

Best Quote I ever Heard!!! XoXo - Your Favorite Candy Girl

I have to share this quote with you today- Words I strongly try and live by.

"You will truly become a Success in Life when you can give away everything you've got and learn to rise up others."

Every business has it's competition and competitors right? That's normal. Most people are threatened by a competitor, they hold onto their trade secrets for dear life and never want to give away any information regarding what they do or how they do what they do. I agree, it would be dumb to share 100% of your business's success secrets with everyone but I also think when you are truly confident in what you do and do it very well, you no longer have to be so worried about what the next guy is doing or trying to do.

I embrace my competition becuase I honestly feel they make me better. I am a VERY competitive person by nature and I admit that. I always want to win, failure is not an option and In the world of candy- I want to be the one of the Best! You can't win 100% of the clients but I'll take a solid 95% ;-). I like succeeding but surprisingly, I also like watching others succeeding in the game of life too! It makes me feel good and I'm happy when great things happen for other people too!

So what are the secrets? Work Hard ( and I mean really hard if you want spectacular results), be appreciative always, treat clients like they are the most priceless gems on earth, when you fail- don't dwell on it- simply keep moving forward, don't ever get too arrogant, know what you are and what you are not, if you believe in it- NEVER give up on it. Be prepared to be judged by others and know who you really are always ( this applies to many areas of life and not just business), And if it helps get over the judgements, you can keep it old school and take it back to the 5th grade, cross your arms, roll your eyes and say " You're just jealous!" Perhaps it's not true but you''ll momentarily feel better anyway! ;-) Be innovative & always Keep It Real!

That Felt Good To Share With Everyone Today!

XoXo,
Jackie- "Candy Girl"
